Hopefully I can get some insight into some of the cloud storage options.

All I am looking for is somewhere I can store important scanned documents so they are all in one place, just things like car insurance house insurance.

Basically I want to cut down on the massive files of paper we have in the home office haha!

I use OneDrive as well.

Installed it on my phone, tablet, Mac Air and desktop.

Pretty much doing the same - I use Prime storage for my photos as this is unlimited.

Can you setup folders on it or is it just like a file dump?

You can setup folders, lost count how many I have.

There is a option to use the folder system as online only or you can download the entire OneDrive to your system, as you edited and make changes this gets uploaded. - not sure if this is on the paid version only as only recently I paid for the office 365, I was using the older version.

I’m on MAC OS at the moment but will possibly be moving back to Windows soon so that would be handy if it’s built in. I just want to create folders and keep it all organised.

Can use it on OneDrive on your Mac then once your back on Windows log in and it'll sync your data over.

How many documents? Your iCloud account provides 5GB of space free of charge, and is built right into macOS (i.e. you can sync your Documents folder on the Mac device to the Documents folder in iCloud). Paid upgrades are cheap too (we have 2TB).

I currently use Google Drive, the app automatically backs up specific folders.
I tried Prime but there were some videos I couldn't upload due to the size of them, none such issues with Google.
