Online picture and video gallery

Hi

I would like some help or advice on setting this up. I have web hosting and FTP access but no clue how to use it ,I'm trying to setup this for a airsoft site so we can put up all the game pictures and videos in a gallery.Any help on this would be very much appreciated.

Gallery2 supports jpg, png, gif, also uses ffmpeg as a video player as optional plugin. Also can integrate .swf using Embed Video plugin, but you'll need to ftp the .swf file because it doesn't upload.

blade that would be perfect but looks way to advanced for me,I have never done anything like this before
