Can anyone recommend a book for online poker ls? :-)

It's all about position. If you are early position (UTG) with AA I tend to just call, as most the time someone will raise over the top of you, THEN, you raise big (not always all in). This forces people out the pot, and if he folds, you got the blinds and his raise, if you sees you, you go into play with the best starting hand. You wanna hop the flop isn't in his favour (for example King or Queens, as he may have a pocket pair of those), and then shove all in or bet big to force him out.

Then again I am still a total amateur, but after reading a book on SnG strategy this is how I play them and it works much better.

In regards to poker books it depends what you want to play? Sit n gos? Cash games or tourneys?

I used to read the books. My advise is not to rely on them. Develop your own style!

Some books are very helpful though and can open your eyes to things you've been doing wrong. But yea, it can make you too predictable if you live by them.
