Online polls

Ive got to create a website with an online poll (voting system), and was wondering if anyone could help out with the coding?

I'm planning on using simple HTML coding really.
Any ideas?
Would I be able to form a proper online poll? Or would I only be able to use some kind of voting form where the results are sent to my email?
