Hi all, apologies if this has been covered before.

i want to create an album for my wife for Christmas.

I'm looking to include photos that have been taken both on a mobile phone (Galaxy S6) and a DSLR (1100D) so the quality varies!

Where's the best place to get prints online that maintain a high quality?

My wife has used one of those self-service machines at a highstreet place before now and the quality has been appalling.

Any tips?

Used photobox a few times with good results for both prints and canvases. Not too expensive, but think they are on Quidco and topcashback as well if you use them.

Photobox did a decent job with my photo books.

Just don't pay full price as they often have big discounts.

I did have one book that wasnt perfect (spine was messed up) and they sent me a replacement immediately.

I've used Photobox in the past for photo book's and prints. Recently someone told me about Lidl and I gave them a go with some 6x4 prints and they were fine:- https://www.lidl-photos.co.uk/.

Photobox is pretty good I have also used Aldi printing at 12x18 which arnt bad.

I would advise making sure your screen is correctly calibrated. I've been down this route before and its very disappointing getting your photos back just to find they are too dark etc.

DS Colour Labs

I've had issues with their B&W processing despite using their B&W guide to the letter.. Each time there's a slight green cast even though the images have been converted to grey scale. I've not had issue else where. That said, no probelms with their colour providing you use their colour prrofiles.
