I don't know if you get this everywhere (probably do)

but in Project Cars 2 online

why is it when you both touch the other guy thinks its your fault and rams you all the time ?

i had a guy reverse onto the track in front of me, so couldn't avoid him, he turns around and comes after me and rams me when its not my fault

Personally pretty much avoid playing racing games online in any kind of serious context - more casual street racing kind of stuff in TDU2, etc. any kind of serious racing online in my experience is pretty much a **** show.

Not hard to find consistent clean serious racing nowadays tbh

Simracing.gp daily race on Assetto Corsa

And this was one of the Daily CP races on ACC

I’d say it’s easier than ever to have consistent clean serious/realistic racing nowadays.

You’re just not going to find it in public lobbies of mainstream games.

all went on behind him though

if your not in the top 5 or so to avoid all the ramming etc then your going to get hit

iracing isn't without it's own subset of players who'll happily ruin other peoples races either, which is rather annoying considering the cost involved.

The difference is there are consequences for intentional wrecking, you will get a ban if it's obviously been done on purpose. I've been on iRacing since 2009 and done over 1000 official races and never once been intentionally wrecked or felt the need to protest anyone. Granted it's going to be worse in bottom splits but thats usually a lack of talent issue rather than everyone being intentional wreckers.

For me it's a night and day difference compared to any other public online racing out there, the only alternative that comes close is LMF for ACC which is also pretty good but has smaller numbers and is mostly limited to GT3.
