I am looking for an online tool that will allow me to play around with IPV6 subnets unfortunatley my company still operate IPV4. If anyone has come across a site that will allow me to set up a mock LAN connection using various subnets and clients I would appreicate it

Thanks :D

+1 for GNS3
Configuring IPv6 tunnels through IPv4 on Cisco routers is surprisingly easy.
You could also play around with NAT-PT for 6 to 4/4 to 6 translation.

Thanks for the information peeps, however with hindsight I should have been more specific with my requirements. basically I am studying MTA Network course (my company have enrolled me free) in the course work it asks you to configure pcs with IPV6 and various IP ranges and subnets As I cant do this on a company pc I was wondering if (akin to dlinks virtual router were you can change the settings of the router without damaging anything) there is a similar site or link that will enable me to test in a virtual environment?

I hope this clarifies things a little and sorry for any confusion caused

I cant think of anything online that would do that, but GNS3 does have the ability to connect to a virtual machine or you can also use linux based qemu images to run many virtual machines within the GNS3 lab. GNS3 can also connect to a virtual cloud which is routed to your machines actual internet connection. The main issue is, if you have no Cisco knowledge it'll take a fair bit of getting to grips with.

The only other thing I could think that might do it would be to use VMWare and create a virtual network with various clients and some linux based router OS that supports IPv6. I'm not 100% sure how well that would work as I've never really tried it.
