Online wine shops

Any wine drinkers here? Ive tried nakedwines and majestic but not happy with the selection of wines of Naked and not happy with the prices of Majestic. Anyone have any suggestions? Only drink white wine and usually like the puly xxx (fumee, fuse etc) wines, californornia chardonay and malborough sauvignon blancs (and yes I dont know how to spell those).

I get what I want from http://www.southdownscellars.co.uk/ and of course http://www.waitrosewine.com/ but I only tend to drink from specific vineyards and these are two of the places that get it in. I know it's a bit boring but hey if you like it a lot then why bother with other stuff that won't compare.

I use Naked Wines, not had a bad bottle from them yet

I use BBR on a regular basis to order online. Waitrose are also pretty good and have a good selection. You won't get any better than BBR for variety and quality.

Avoid places like Majestic, Naked and Virgin etc.

Good one another to add to my list of Dr Loosen distributors! Won't let Mrs Xordium see the price of a case of that though ...

If you're a fan of Dr. Loosen, check out Selbach-Oster, Zeltinger Schlossberg. Really, really good (and a great investment for me, price has rocketed since buying!). Their Eiswein is also incredible.

Yep tried them good recommendations. Got any tips on any Gewürztraminer? I got a mate who owns a Gastof in Austria who gets them all in then I drink them for him.

ok i have been on naked wines and virgin

naked selection not brill even tho the wines r nice

what ****ed me off with them was the so called random email you accidentily get copied into but now we done it we may as well you about hthis great deal type of thing absolut bolluks that is so i canceled

virgin account automatically takes money every 3 months unless u cancle it
but a nice choice.

i would say go virgin wines but dont sign for a recouring deal

but your best bet is a cheap ferry from plymouth to roskoff and buy 20 or 30 crates

do it everyyear and its so good value

Virgin wines are superb for me. Customer service is brilliant combine this with having your own wine advisor and then for every £50 you put in they give you £10.... Sounds good? It gets better my guy typically knocks off another 10% plus free delivery couldn't recommend them enough !

Never had a bad experience with Virgin Wines but I only really use their auctions, always been good wine too.

on this point you are spot on , NW are very limited in choice but what they have is superb

we drink 4-6 bottles a month so it suits us

Thats a poorer deal than I get with Virgin wines. I put £60 and get £20 credited. Agree on everything else.
