Only £200 for a Bundle, is this good?

Intel Core i3-2120 3.30GHz LGA1155 Processor £74.99
Gigabyte Z77-DS3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £47.99
Corsair Value 2GB (1x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz x3 £59.97

=£192.55

So the computer is going to be used for general computing rather than full on gaming and I would like to make it cheap stable and powerful enough for under £200.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as they guy I am building this for is a pain in the ass.

The ram is fail. Could get a good dual channel 8gb kit for less.

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-052-TG&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1387 is cheaper, faster, more plentiful RAM. Not sure it's the best pick, just sorted by price and picked the first result, but certainly an improvement

Maybe watch for a bargain, there was a £45 8GB 2400MHz RAM set up the other day.

Yeah thats expensive for cheap RAM lol, and even on a general computing build you want at least 4GB really.

OCUK have an ok bundle for a bit cheaper

Edit: Sorry misread your post, it included 3x2GB didnt it. Its still more for less on the OCUK bundle though.

This is much better, 8gb of ram and haswell.
There's no point in getting a Z77 board with a non K chip as was in the OP and as said 2gb isnt enough

Yes Captain_Bosh that memory is x3 so it was 6gb not 2GB, sorry for the confusion.

Just be sure that the mobo meets your requirements. In as much as it has enough sata, usb ports, etc,.

Will do, it is only one hard drive, one DVD drive and a graphics card to go in it so it will be perfect.
