As you may know the VAT increases to 20% on the 4th January 2011. This is the last Friday in the year the VAT will be at 17.5% and ultimately you will be saving money buying now.

I am sure the NV 570GTX OCUK version has gone up £10 already, I know many businesses are expected to use the VAT hike to increase margins but it aint going up till midnight Monday!

Probally because everywhere else selling cards cheap have sold out of stock, so they can afford to increase the price as they have stock.
