Its on now hehe, this is my best episode... I love this program, best ever and David Jason is an awsome actor.

i watched that episode on UK Gold as well. Someone actually asked this at the time and i think someone else said it was originally by the Beatles?

Also, if you know lyrics to a song, but not the name or artist, go on www.letssingit.com and search for lyrics :)

I watched it on UK Gold as well that 3 episode 1996 trilogy are comedy classics, It really should have ended for good with Del, Rodney and Albert walking off into the sunset as millionares rather than coming back for those last 3 it just ended so perfect.

I thought it was the Beatles as well tbh, sounded a lot like John Lennon's vocals.

The ending to the series imo didn't make much sense. The freddy the frog bit seemed to be added to the story with no thought of it recurrung later in the series, in the final episode Del knows all about the guy as he was one of his dads mates, but in an episode earlier where they meet one of their aunts at a party they learn that he buried gold and they go looking for it. Del at this point has no clue who freddie the frog is and gets all his info from the vicar near the end of the episode who tells him he was a frogman and the coffin with the gold was buried at sea.

Just seemed to be a kinda rushed part of the story, one minute with millions worth of gold at stake Del has no clue who the guy is, then in the final episode he was a friend of his dads and was in the apartment quite a lot?
