Please remove competitor links.

1. How much RAM does your mobo support?

2. You are using a 64 bit OS right?

Using x64 windows 7 pro,

everything else including the case I got from OCUK but they didnt stock a cheap itx hence link

I have just carried over my hard drive from the old system, people say maybe thats the problem but I never had 4gb of ram and if I tajke one out it shows only 2gb in bios and windows.

This is dual channel ram 1600mhz

board supports dual channel up to 1333mhz

but usually the 1600will run fine and be detected but just run at 1333mhz right?

Just took a look at your memory and its 2X2GB sets unless I am mistaken. So Showing 4GB is correct since you only have 2 DDR slots.

Not quite understanding your original post.. Your Corsair RAM link takes us to a 4GB kit (2 sticks).. You say the BIOS/Windows only shows 4GB, but you have 8GB installed. Then you say you have 16GB total and have tried all 4 sticks, yet your mobo only takes 2 sticks..

Can you clarify what kit you have? Because your ITX mobo only has 2 memory slots, so all you can do is fit in 4GB if you only have 2x 2GB sticks..

hmm.i think mayeb your right, the part number on the ram is cmx4gx3m2a1600c9

But the individual sticks say 4gb (2x2gb) on them so i thought they were 4gb each.

Ok, so- if that IS the problem, can you direct me to some ram that will defo be compatible?

and whats the max I can have with this mobo? Id like as much as possible so I dont have to worry
