hi all

Just to post my first a64 Oc, i know it is crap comparing to conroe, but i was on budget, so picked 3700+ sandy from OcUK.

specs:
DFI Ultra-D
3700+ sandy KAB2E
XP-90c + papst 92
Corsair XMS 4400c2
7900GTO 705/810
Hiper R 580W
Audigy4 pro
Spin Point 300GB
Sonata

Super stable config gives consistent Benchmarks and doesn't crash!

Use thes formulas to calculate your V-Core
Either Min V-Core = FSB(MHz) / 210 e.g. 300MHz / 210 = 1.4286V (1.4375), or
Final Intended CPU Clock (GHz) / 2.5 e.g. 3.6GHz / 2.5 = 1.4400V (1.4375)

Anyway they've worked for me so far. Happy Clocking Guys

That does not really work mate!
I run 380FSB with 1.45vcore stable. But according to your calcs I should be running 1.8vcore!!
and to get 3.6GHz you would need 3600/9=400FSB/210=1.9vcore!
Yet your other calc says 3.6/2.5=1.44vcore!!!!!

EDIT: Using 9x multi locked

Erm......??

Thought I'd better upgrade as peeps were beating me to the chopper in BF2

Just to make the AMD64 peeps sick this cpu stock (1.8GHz) beats my 5th placed Opteron's SuperPI time by 1 Second :(

Not had this rig set up long so duno what I can get out of her yet, 3.648GHz so far. 3.5 for everyday use.

SuperPI 1MB 16s

Ah, clocking time is here again eh?

I have not had much time to do some serious clocking recently.

I have acheived the following speeds

XP1700 - 3019Mhz ( AND ON AIR BTW )
Abit NF7S - Corsair XMS 4400 Platinum RAM

Winchester 3200 - 3.0Ghz
MSI Neo2 - Again, corsair

Opteron 144 - 2664Mhz
MSI Neo2 - Corsair XMS4400 TwinX

x2-3800 - 2.5Ghz ( AW SHAME )
MSI Neo2 & MSI Neo4 - Samsung & OCZ

Currently working on Intels however...

P4 660 Prescot @ 4.3 ( And rising - just priming it for a few days first )
DS3 & Kingston

Conroe @ stock ( Not got good RAM for it yet )
DS3 & ValueRAM ( Oh no! )

Its pretty cold in my PC room, ( e.g P4 @ sub-50c ) so I will hopefully get round to re-building the good bits and get clocking up and sending screenies out in the next week or so, or at least CPUZ Validations anyway...
