Hello and thanks for letting me join.
I live pretty much out in the sticks (postcode SY13 4LY) and after a lot of searching 3 years ago when we moved in, could only find one broadband provider for our road, which is Talk Talk, ASDL only.
The amount of providers on-line that say they can offer us connectivity at 11mbps and more is just not reality, as when they check again, it's a big "No sorry we can't".
BT, Plusnet, EE all say they can on-line but the reality is they can't. We have no fibre in our area and there are no plans to either. Our max speed is about 1.8mbps which is useless.
My question is... Is there an accurate checker on line anywhere? I've already tried "Samknows" on the sticky but the same results show, i.e. lots of providers including BT who have already stated that they can't provide us. The other link doesn't work.
