Hi
My dad is having problems with his computer. His PSU died about a week ago and he has just got a new one, but since trying the new PSU we can oney get one stick of RAM to work at a time. He did have three sticks of 512 in there and it worked fine. Each stick works in each slot ok but if you try to put more than one in it gives two memory problem beeps.
It is crossair DDR in a Gigabyte K8 Triton series mobo.
Anyone know what the problem is and a solution to it?
Thanx for any help.

Are you sure the codes are specific to the memory. That mobo uses Award iirc .. http://www.bioscentral.com/beepcodes/awardbeep.htm

Try cleaing the contacts of the RAM modules and then reseat them. Make sure EVERYTHING is secure as often something could have been dislodged as you 've replaced the PSU. Check on connections and connectors including all expansion cards.

Then when your happy, reset the CMOS, then go into the BIOS and check that all the modules are present in there before continuing into windows.
