Only running 1 core on C2D?!

I am running Vista with a gadget showing the CPU & Ram usage and its only showing 1 core working!
If I look at task manager that also only shows 1 core.

HELP!!!

Have you just changed the CPU or is it a new upgrade together? Has it ever shown two cores?

Not changed the CPU since I got the new mobo over 6 months ago!

Not updated the Bios either!

Always worked both cores!

I had to go into the Bios, save and exit!

No settings changed but on reboot everything ok.

Phew!
