Only the GPU to upgrade left, now or wait?

So after gaming I usually find myself looking up on information about gpu's put finding it hard to decide if I should now or wait.

Current System -
i5 2500k @ 4.4ghz
Asus P8P67 LE
Thermalright Archon
250GTS 512mb
Corsair HX520
Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz 8gb
Coolermaster 690 II
BenQ 120hz

So I kind of need some advice/suggestions if I should or not. I only play HoN atm which runs at capped 120fps but a new GPU could possibly tempt me into playing other games. Only reason why I might take the leap now is that I can buy http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-117-AN&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=1088 off my friend for £50 new+packaged still.

The HD7950 and HD7970 1.5GB should be out in the next month or two AFAIK.

I would say get an HD6950 2GB or GTX560TI 2GB if you cannot wait - perhaps even a GTX570 or HD6970 too.

and then when keplar is out there will be something else around the corner, then when the something else is out there will be another along shortly and on and on and on

Buy the best performing card currently available that you can afford with your budget and be happy If you sit around waiting for the next gen all the time you will never upgrade

however if you are only playing HON and possibly dabbling with a few other games then a 6950/70 or nvidia equivalent will be more than enough for what you require

Yeah think I'm pretty decided on a EVGA 448 Classified, seems like they can overclock to just under 580 performance which I could see lasting me a good 3 years. The 250gts lasted me this long so anything is a plus.

Actually its usually main card release 'GTX680' and 7970 out then you wait a year for the next gen to come around so it's always worth while to wait a little if its literally a few weeks off but once you start talking half a year or so then year new tech is always just around the corner.
