Onyx or Cocktail?

I am looking at programs similar to ccleaner for my MAC.

Which is best ( i do not mind buying an application).

CCleander is a windows type product to help get over the poor design of things like the registry and the lack of automated cleanup tasks in some areas...

There is OnyX but its scripts that it runs are automatically run at daily, weekly and monthly levels also the Mac does not really need defragging etc.

Mac maintenance is minimal although possible.

What are the symptoms rather than saying which cures are best when we don't know the issue.
