OO PHP

Hi,

I'll be starting the placement year of my degree in August, and I'll be working a lot with Object Oriented PHP. I've done a small bit of (what I assume is) normal PHP, but not object oriented.

I do a lot of Java work, which is an OO language, so are things similar in PHP?

Are there any sites/videos/books that people here can recommend, so I have a chance to brush up my skills before I start working?

If you are familiar with general OOP practices and principles I think you will be fine and should pick it up quite easy. However I find the PHP manual a good starting point http://php.net/manual/en/language.oop5.php
