Just got my XDA Exec for £149 at £19 per month. Should be able to sell my MDA Compact to recoup some of that.

I can't believe how perfect this phone is. On the MDA I bought a wifi card but was always a little miffed that it wasn't internal. The MDA camera was a bit poo when it came to the crunch and it never felt like it had enough storage.

The XDA Exec on the other hand, wow, storage aplenty, connectivity overload, an absolutely beautiful screen.

It's really not that big either, being used to having my MDA in an aluminium case as the screen needed protection, this is overall the same thickness as it doesn't need screen protection.

The O2 software is actually pretty good and doesn't seem to clog the system up. Just discovered O2 Active which alters the today screen to be a bit more useful. I always thought the today screen was a bit rigid and lacking in function, with O2 Active you get a lot of the nice-to-haves you used to have to download extra apps for.

Wifi seems pretty damn good and combined with Internet Explorers ability to go full screen makes surfing enjoyable. When I used to use the Sandisk Wifi card in the SD slot of the MDA I was always having to turn images off and pray that large tabular pages didn't exhaust some limit IE seemed to have. These forums could take up to a minute to load one page. I'm pleased to say the combination of the usability of the new IE, better processor and memory in the XDA Exec and a wifi card that actually seems to run at 11b speeds means the forums are perfectly usable if not enjoyable.

That'll do for now, there have been a few reviews but thought I'd add my 2p as I think the deal O2 currently have on is superb.

Just got TomTom working in VGA resolution by the way. The detail is fantastic while still having an excellent refresh rate.

Roads are curved rather than angular now!
