Same here, I've never understood the big huff everyone makes about it, I've never noticed a difference

"Technology site ExtremeTech is showing up to a 46 frame-per-second increase in Crysis low-quality performance after applying the patch", but if you look elsewhere the scores tend to go the other way round.
To be honest, SP1 did nothing noticeable to gaming on my rig, it improved loads of other things, fixed few annoyances, ignored two handfulls of notorious bugs, but not sure really if it was even supposed to do anything for the gaming.

Nothing wrong with gaming in Vista as far as I'm concerned, I just think people get upset because 3DMark 06 loses points . Too bad Vantage won't work so well on XP eh?

I upgraded from XP Home Edition to Vista HPE (x86 changing to x64 sometime in the future) and noticed no difference what so ever!
