Went to Tesco's today and was going my general wander up and down the isles..

Stop in the home baking isle and stand there - mouth open.. Drool forming..

Heinz Steamed puddings in a tin 3 for £2 :eek:

So - natrually I grab 6 chocolate ones and 6 treacle ones. :D

Also get some of those little pots of custard *both vanilla and chocolate* to add to the lovelyness that is the pud's.

Got one steaming at the moment tbh..45mins in a pan or sub 2mins in a microwave... Much better when steamed though.

Tempted to go back tomorrow and clear them out. :D Along with the strawberry jam and Spotted dick puds too..

Today was a good day. :D

Just had a 'melting middle' taste the difference chocolate pud from Sainsbury and it was awesome. The centre gets mildly volcanic so be careful but really, really recommended.

They are all lovely though. :D

Man, I love those things....along with the pies in a tin, is it Frey Bentos? They are the sole reason I turned into a fat git at uni!!!

really ? i found those a bit overrated tbh ... the cake was very stodgy (sp?) so that it didn't suck up all the sauce, and in the end a bit flavourless
