Oooold film, Anyone know it?

I remember a film from when i was young, so think late 70's early 80's, although the film might have been before then...

This guy goes into a phonebox and cant get out, nobody can get him out, then the phonebox gets picked up by a truck and he gets carried off somewhere, I cant remember much more than that, and its entirely possible I'm confusing film and TV, or, possibly losing the plot...


Sound familiar to anyone?
 
Whelp complete aside but for some reason it reminded me of a movie I saw in hospital while still coming around from having my tonsils taken out (The Legend of Frog Dreaming), when Googling for it I found this comment on Reddit:

Hah, this movie will always hold a special place in my heart. I saw it in the very early nineties, while in a fugue state on meds after getting my tonsils removed. Since up to about a year ago I've been desperate to remember what it was, and my description was even worse...something like "Remember that movie from the 80's about the Indian who uses a haunted backhoe to eat kids!?!?" I mean, as a kid, it was blindingly terrifying.

As a young kid in a semi-conscious state it scared the **** out of me, but pretty eerie I'm not the only one to have that experience.

So, yes, that appears to be the film, however in my head it was in English and had a dude in a lighter coloured suit, IMDB doesn't seem to think there's been any remakes, perhaps time, age and alcohol has warped my brain, but having just watched it, that appears to be the one..
