Only three fans running at full tilt in my NZXT 440 now.

Still too noisy. :D

Wow, how did you manage that?
What option you going for to control the fan speeds on another topic?

Done that on my 450d while putting the dust filter back on

Exactly how I did it!

See William's post. Exactly like that, going to slot the dust filter back in, missed the slot and BOOM fan blade comes flying out...

Now that I have three case fans I'm going to plug them into the motherboard headers and use Speedfan.

I did that while I built my sisters PC about 3 months ago with a Artic F12. Dug into my finger when I tried to eliminate why one of the fans was making a chafing noise. said fan got chucked away as I couldnt be arsed to RMA it & I think it was my fault that the blade broke off in the 1st place.

That fan will be louder as out of balance and may even feel the case wobble like my 200mm fan did when 1 blade broke on last case.

The Phantom's fans are brittle.

Said broken fan is in the bin. Remaining three are now plugged into the MB headers and not the hub in the 440 that runs them at full speed.
