I use AIM, which has annoying flash ads. I got around this by not installing the IE version of flash player at all, though this meant that every time I tried to run AIM, it gave me a message telling me flash wasn't installed and asked me if I wanted to install it. Finally, I got annoyed and in this window:

I hit the 'never install software from Adobe' button, and its been great for a couple of months. But now I want to install some software from Adobe... and I can't. Yes, stupid, I know. And because its using their Download Manager program, it means I can't simply right click it and allow it to run.

Where's the 'un unblock' button? :3

Yeah, but that only works on a per-file basis, and the adobe download manager runs itself from the browse, there isn't an exe I can do that do :(

Internet Options-> Content-> Publishers-> Untrusted Publishers-> Remove?

Otherwise what app do you want to install that uses DLM? Adobe have manual installers hiding on the site somewhere for most of their online products. If not, cheat and use DLM on another PC; when it starts the installer for the actual app, you can go to the DLM cache folder and copy the real installer exe.

Excellent! Thank you, my good man :D

And I did manage to find an exe for it, which I was able to allow, but I figured I should still figure out how to undo this. Thanks!
