Heh, the walls have eyes! Very respectable of you not to take advantage and 'guess' it. :)

I wouldn't normally make an offer at the asking price but I thought it was an absolute bargain considering the cooler and I didn't want anyone else to snap it up. Very happy with it. Still open for guesses...
 
Well someone had to put everyone out of their misery.. :)

So anyway.. in other words I now have three 8800 cards and you're all getting pwnd*

That's true. I have an 8800GT with the same cooler, but with a 120mm fan attached to it. Without the fan the GPU itself stayed below 70c, but the power circuitry on the board got really hot. If I were you I'd strap a fan onto it to prolong the life of the card.

It didn't need a fan 'on' it as it was (for a day) in my other case which has two 120mm fan glued to the motherboard tray right next to the motherboard/gfx card.

However last night I switched the cases for my folding PC and main PC so now it does have a fan tied to it.
