Oops Moment - need to clean cherry MX switches...

So I stupidly dropped yoghurt on my newish K70 LED. The keyboard is fine except for about 5 keys that took the main brunt. They work fine but are a bit stiff/sticky. With them having LEDs, can I still remove the switches from the main board to give the plastic mechanical bits a clean by hand?

See if it's covered by warrenty.

Otherwise do you have a soldering iron? that keyboard looks like a plate mount - in which case you will have to de-solder every switch and led in order to get the plate off/get at the switch, have fun.

You might be lucky and just be able to de-solder the one switch/led.

It is under warranty, yes, but this is user damage, and it would be quite clear to anyone giving anything more than a quick glance. I've just watched some videos and they require desoldering; thankfully it's only the ones of interest that require it, not the whole set. I've got a good iron and I'm a confident solderer so I'm happy to give it a go on the few damaged keys. I'll just put up with it for now, as they're usable and will probably loosen up over time. I'll price up a few spares, just in case...
