Decided to test something out, since i read so much about what cooler to buy and how water cooling cant really be beaten for cooling. I thought id have a bash at getting my CPU down to a low temp, without water cooling or anything other than a stock CPU cooler. I did however use something a little different. Despite being at stock speed, my challange is can anyone beat this?

Session start: 19:08:03, May 19, 2008
CPUID: 0x20FB1
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600+ (Manchester)
Revision: BH-E4
Time & Date CPU Temperature
19:09:42 05/19/08 CPU#0 (Core#0): 19
19:09:42 05/19/08 CPU#0 (Core#1): 13

I can provide screen caps from either SiSoft Sandra, CoresTemp or CPU fan. Just a bit of fun really!!

had mine running at sub-zero on cold winter nights in the conservatory, no screenies tho

Edit: and obviously not at 4ghz :)

I can get my Q9450 idling at 15C on all 4 cores at stock speeds and voltages if I turn the air-con down to 12C and leave the energy saving routines enabled.
