2) Well, it does what it says on the tin, if thats what you mean. What are you planning on using it for? A network Directory service? Storing metadata?

Work wants me to be good at directory by the end of May and I have only spent about half a day playing around with it on a Solaris box a month ago so I'm rusty to say the least. I just want something where I can set up a directory and then play around with it really.
