Hi guys

Quick question for you if thats cool

I'm looking for an open source solution that will allow the ability to both store documentation, categorize, share, search but also post it as a kind of wiki (so not just a word / visio / excel / gedit / emacs / vi etc etc repository) - so you can actually post instructions to an online knowledgebase or web page etc so you don't always have to download a Word doc!

Of course you could use CIFS for this or Samba, maybe even GIT but we want a dedicated open source DMS tool.

I know about Alfresco but it just looks like a document repository to me, any recommendations? Something that is a cross between Alfresco and DokuWiki would be about right!

Cheers

We used TWiki where I used to work, which I quite liked, and is Open Source. The new place is all about SharePoint though which obviously isn't!

Thanks chap, I'll take a look at that

FYI if anyone is interested I was looking at racktables, ITDB (which looks good actually) and Alfresco.
