Since a certain collective of OCUK seems determined to prove that open course is far superior and closed source is some evil capitalistic tool monopolize the market then perhaps said people should drop AMD and support an open source GPU.

Why stop being open at the software? If AMD and Nvidia had open source GPUs then it would surely benefit the consumer because each company could leverage the best ideas form each other and lead to a cooperation that produces better games.

in most comments i didnt see ppl asking for all private eco-systems to be made open source, ppl might favour one over the other, but no one is asking the replacement of one by the other system, blowing stuff out of proportion wont really help your argument
and the argument is about 1 specific instance misuse of closed eco-system, not the whole system.
soon this will turn into communism vs capitalism...

For once I think you are right and I totally agree with you. At least it would be better for us gamers all round. Oh, who are you referring to as the "Certain Collective" ? Is it anyone we know. Come on, don't keep it to yourself....you really have to be more open about these things.
