Hi there!
This is basically for my final year project at Uni due in just over 3 months. What i had been asked to do by a lecturer was create a solution similar to that of the Hidden Histories project in Southampton.
This worked by using residential gateways with a modification of OpenWRT called 'Hive Wares' that would share audio and text via blutooth and wireless to handheld devices. Now i planned to begin creating the first prototype today which the final devices will be based on. For this i bought myself a Linksys WRT54GL as it is one of the models OpenWRT was originally designed for, therefore perfectly compatible with OpenWRT.
But, here's the problem, the Hive Wares website has inexplicably vanished with no sign of it ever returning. I need an alternative. What i need is firmware for the router that allows users to connect and access data within a storage medium attached to the device. Unfortunately setting up a media server on a PC and connecting it to the router is out of the question, it's a long story.
Any suggestions?
