A friend has asked how to share a hard drive on one machine with a user on another machine via the internet, but without taking over the remote machine.
I think he's working from home, but wants to connect to an external HD at work, but can't use Remote Desktop.
So, I think he needs to set-up a VPN, about which I know very little.
Would anyone recommened Open VPN for this purpose? or can someone please recommend another (free) VPN software? or perhaps an alternative route?
Both machines are running Vista.
