Hoping you guys can clear someting up for me please.
In some games there is an option under Audio called "System Driver", which can be enabled or disabled.
My understanding of this option is that by enabling, the game uses the default OpenAL driver within the game. However, if there is an OpenAL32.dll file in your Windows\System 32 folder you should disable "System Driver" within the Audio options of the game to make use of your sound-card specific driver for improved performance and audio quality.
Am I thinking correctly here ??
