Hi,

Been doing some research and it looks like most people on here like opencart as a solution.
How easy is it then to integrate paypal into this? Would the site need to be SSL if paypal is integrated?
Then would paypal sort out all the payments and security cheques?

PayPal/PayPal Pro/PayPal Pro (UK) come with it as standard. Setting it up only really requires you to type in a few bits of authentication data from PayPal, OpenCart does the rest for you. You can also enable a test mode so you don't have to do real transactions to test it's working.

You don't necessarily need SSL as all payment takes place on PayPal's server, which is secure, unless you wanted to secure logging into your cart, people entering their address details etc.

PayPal take care of all the security checks and will notify the store whether payment was successful or not - again, OpenCart will do all this for you.
