Opencart problem! :(

Basically ive just purchased and installed a new template. All my products and Catorgories are still there however whenever you click on a product all you get is the Error 500 message. Although it works if you click quick view. It has took me around 30 hours to input all of the products so im fuming :mad:

Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried using the backup i made but all that has done is remove the template and not the problem. (It was working fine before the new template.)

Did you not also backup the SQL? If so, you need to restore them both.

i just tried restoring the database backup i made in cpanel as well as the one in opencart but it still doesnt work.

Someone hand me a noose!

It seems that my version of opencart is 1.5.4.1 and the template is 1.5.3.1 so im guessing this is the problem. Now is there a way to downgrade my version and still keep all my information?

Ask the theme's author for an updated version or work out how to upgrade it yourself. You don't want to downgrade your store and any potential security improvements the newer version brings.
