Am I the only one who needs a pair of pliers -pair of snips and hand held bottle top remover with spike on it.

The spike is for hooking out the tab -the pliers for pulling it out and half way round the cap and snippers for cutting it off.
Who in this world designes this stuff that only youngsters with long finger nails and good eye sight can open.
Get out of your swivel chair and go out in the world. :(

I know what you mean, last time the little plastic tab snapped, so I used a normal table knife to try and dig the plastic ribbon out.

Anyway, I slipped and manage to jam the knife so hard in to my finger it bled.

You see how hard you have to run a blunt knife in to yourself for if you bleed.

I'm not a youngster, nor are my eyes especially good and neither are my nails long, yet I don't have any problems...
But for those around me who do struggle, I just lend them a Swiss Army knife and leave them to it.
