Opening forwarded emails

Just wondering if anyone can help me open some emails I was forwarded. They came as attachments but not in any file format (as far as I can see). I can open them in notepad and word but they appear as pure text (with all the coding).

Does anyone know what program I can use to view them as they were originally intended without all the code?

What email program are you using? Generally it should be readable as long as the attachment is in the proper format. Though it is odd for forwarded emails to be sent as attachments at all!

If you stick .msg on the end does Outlook try and open them? Might work

They are most likely to be dat files.

Try winmail.dat program to open them....

Or adding .eml
