Opening PDF's from IE

When clicking a .pdf link within a html page it opens in IE.

Is there any way of forcing the .PDF to open in Adobe Acrobat / Reader when clicking the link.

Here's how to do it in XP. No sure about Vista, though I found it somewhere once before.
