Hi guys,
have a hard drive from a broken laptop from one of my friends. It had windows 7 on it. They have a new laptop so I took the old hard drive out of the broken laptop to transfer their data to the new one. However I can not open their my docs, pics and music folders. I have tried connecting the old hdd to a machine with win xp as well as a one with win 8 on it. I have tried taking owner of the folders, but am not have much luck.
Does anyone know how can I open these folders to transfer across their data and file?
