Opening Windows Full Screen ???

Pretty sure you just need to close the window holding down the ctrl key
The other steps are just voodoo

i.e. maximise it and then close it whilst holding down ctrl (clicking on the x)

The technique I use is just to replace the default IE icon with a shortcut to it, then right click and select open "Maximised"

Sometimes the CTRL or SHIFT methods just won't work, hence my other solution which seems to fix it no matter what. I'm all for making peoples lives as easy as possible but sometimes simple isn't an option

if you drag it out it's not maximized, it's just minimized bigger - what if I want it to actually open maximized but so that I can minimize it to 600x800 if I want without dragging?

i posted this a few years ago, some clever clogs said "use firefox" i gave it a go and will never go back to IE

adblock plus + filterset g extentions alone are worth the change, no more crappy adverts (and i don't mean a popup blocker)
