OpenOffice- Automatic formating?

Slightly odd little request here, ought to be easy for someone who knows how the more complex macros work, but I can't get this right-
I've got an ebook here, only trouble is that it's in plain text format. I'm trying to add a little basic formatting- Chapter numbers consist of the number being spelt out in capitals, like this:
I want to automatically find all of these, add a new line before each, up the font size by two points, make the text bold and center it. I can automate all of this into a single click, but I still have to find the text manually. I can't see this being too difficult, but can't figure out how to do it right. (Only possible problem is that only numbers as above should be touched, nothing else)

OpenOffice is the weapon of choice here, but I do have an Office2003 disk kicking about if its going to be easier.

Anyone help please :)
