openoffice?

Hello,

I've received a file ''.docx'' wich my office 2k wont open anymore.
Basicly i've heard people about openoffice, and googled it.
Resuts are mainly openoffice.org and openoffice, wich one would i have to go for and will it open word 2007 (????) files?

30 day trial and then stuck with it as in unable to open recently saved files, doesn't sound good tbh.

Also i need the NL version as im not in the UK/Ireland...

Or even the Compatibility Pack .

Gave me some kind of error in word 2k, so still wont open it...

Can't you ask whoever sent you the file to resave it as a 2000-2003 compatible file?
