Hi All,
We currently run an internal website for a group of users who are able to reset other users passwords. It's fantastic, but the server is due to be replaced. The engineer who initially wrote the site has left the company and zero documentation. Plus the source code is compiled and nobody can get to the code.
anyway, does anyone know of a free tool or even better, website we can internally host to do this?
all the site does is open for a group of users and asks them for the username. It then resets the password and displays it on screen so the member of staff can give it out.
ManageEngine make a product but it's expensive. There is the AD taskpad route but I'd prefer to keep it on a site if possible. Last resort is getting users to phone the helpdesk but don't like that idea either.
