Could not find a thread on this, if so my bad..

Anyway I got a notification to download it, appears to have a new theme and preview panes if you wish abit like Windows taskbar where you can see the page in a little thumbnail.

Seems abit faster for me :) I cant remove the thumbnail preview though, I find the white line under the tabs abit annoying.

I'm unsure on that, I just opened Opera and received a notification on an update, it downloaded it and installed it automatically, not really any prompt screens.

Doesn't look like it. Just installed it on a recently rebuilt machine without Opera and the only options under custom install are location to install to and icon location !

I gave up on opera about 6 months ago just keeps crashing and not displaying webpages properly. I feel bad, will try this new beta :)

I installed it this morning.. Just seems like a slightly fancier version of 9! Didn't notice anything new. Still.. Seems stable enough for me so will carry on using it! :)

For those that have it - what's it like in terms of loading up times for Facebook and eBay if you guys don't mind me asking? I have version 9.6x and I've found only Chrome/Iron beats it for speed.

Ohh.. Just noticed there is a spell checker built in for when I'm typing forum posts! Thats quite a nice feature! :)

Haven't tried it on Facebook but it seems the same as 9.6 for Ebay usage.

Thanks for this. Just been using for the past half an hour and love it! Feels so slick and there are some nice features. The spell checking is really helpful and the turbo thing really helps. I have it set to Auto and it decides when to turn on and off. :) Really pleased with it so far!! :D

I'm not so keen on the turbo, for me it made some websites load faster and makes the images look kinda crap and low quality, obviously thats how it loads websites faster.

Yeah images do appear a bit more blocky. I noticed however, if say you're looking at a thumbnail it will look like this, however, click it to view it's normal/full size and it's not compressed at all.

Thanks for this. Its pretty good, a bit like a faster version of 9.6 (or whatever the last version is/was). I like the fact that the speed dial options can be easily edited and the built in spell checker. Some nice changes!

Anybody got screenshots of it on Vista/Windows 7? I was really hoping John Hicks would sort out the design but it looks awful on OS X :(

Any idea how to get Windows Vista to recognise Opera 9.64 as the default browser AFTER having installed and then removed the Opera 10.00 Beta? :D

Opera isn't in the default programs list, just Firefox and IE for browsers. Do I need to reinstall Opera 9.64 to force it onto the list?
