Opera 10.0 Beta

Been trying the turbo mode but it didn't seem to work too well, ended up turning it off because some websites loaded funny! Oh well, it is still only a beta! :)

Haha. :D Opera 10.00 Alpha just told me I'm on a slow network and asked if I wanted to enable the Turbo mode. Its a gigabit network and I'm on Be*. :D

Slow network?!

I've been using Opera for aeons [I nearly paid for it back in the day!], and though I welcome new features I wish they were optional on installation ie mail, torrent, rss etc.

I've got Firefox installed too and it appeals more and more - with a couple of addons I can turn it into the ultimate minimal browser, which is what Opera used to be.

I'd like to try firefox but I never use it even though it's installed cause it looks so full of stuff and I don't like the theme.

My firefox theme: (need to remove the icon in top left though >.>)
If i could get opera to look like that then It'd be perfect, i just dont feel opera is as customisable

I would like it to be a bit more customizable, I would love it loads if I could place Favorites links along the File, Edit, View etc. bar.

That's awesome, but how did you get it like that? Does it require lots of messing about?

It is awesome, but I would want the title bar to vanish if it wasn't displaying the title of the tab! It's just taking up space!

Just about as minimal as it gets - which is [sadly] a lot more minimal than any Opera config. Usually running maximised, for the sake of this shot I shrank the window. No titlebar, and status bar autohides for maximum screen estate.

:)
