Probably not quite, Chrome is very fast. I'd still like to properly get into that browser if it just would allow me to save groups of sessions like Opera can. I hear it's Flash support is better as well.

Order of Awesome:

-Opera
-Chrome
-Everything else

Opera is my default browser, but I find on occasion that Chrome's rendering is superior. Doesn't very often, though, and I do prefer Opera's layout, integrated features and the extent to which the interface can be customised.

Got this at work earlier today. If Iron let me have keywords for my bookmarks, like 'ocf' for these forums that I just type into the address bar I'd use Iron permanently. Since I can't, or can't work out how to do it, I'm using Opera. :)

Been testing this feature out with the keywords - loving it!

They also keep to have cut down the GUI - so I will be using Opera for a while to see how it goes - so far though - looking like a keeper, to me. :D

Not bad speed wise, but I have BT Infinity. A couple of things here i'm not too sure about. 1. How do you set a page to favorite. 2. On Chrome and IE, you can set your favorite links at the top of the browser, like so.

Can anybody tell me if can be done in Opera. Thanks in advance:D

EDIT: Got it, they don't make it easy.

seems to be ok at work although not officially supported :(
Ditto. Opera doesn't render the webmail service we use as well as IE. :(

Glad you like. Having to type out full addresses or find a link in the favourites seems like such a chore when I can type a 'nickname' for a site. 'gm' is GMail. 'news' is BBC News. 'sport' is BBC Sport News etc. :p

Opera is for the intellectual elite. ;)

They can keep it, I'll stick with chrome until IE9 Beta comes out next week.

You can keep IE9 Beta, everybody knows Opera conforms to web standards far better then IE,as to Chrome its ok if you want a basic fast browser but nowadays most people do a lot more then just browse.

The shortcuts for typing in urls in Opera is a god send. It's second nature now just to type in "CTRL T g..." and away I google..

I haven't actually visited the Google, Google Image Search, YouTube, Wikipedia or ebay homepages for several months now. Also, CTRL+Z to bring back that tab you just closed.

I upgraded when it came out too. Been using Opera for several years now. Love it. Speed Dial is a godsend as well as the address bar keywords.

One thing I really wish Opera supported is css3 gradients. I wish one single common spec could be decided upon and all browsers to take advantage of it.

hi

i still use firefox for my main browser but im currently testing out chrome on my laptop as i only use my laptop for a bit of basic browsing.

i would like to try opera but would like to know if this has an add blocker?
