Bit of German for you. Don't know why I felt compelled to write that. :confused:

I had been using early builds of Opera 10.00 Alpha with a fair few issues that made me keep going back to 9.64. However with the last few builds Opera 10.00 has been quite stable for me.

I wonder how many more betas Opera will push before we get the real thing.

Oh and if you're on Vista do you find that you get an Opera 'O' icon in the system tray every time you run Opera 10.00 beta build? I am and I have to hide it in the notifications every flipping time. Grr!

you get that by default in linux - and have for as long as I've been using Opera (9.12 - I think).

Change your shortcut to "opera -notrayicon" to get rid of it (Disclaimer: not tested in Windows at all!)

Never noticed, although it was hidden.

Yeah I've had that. However with 9.xx once I hide the logo its gone for ever. With the 10.00 beta every time I load Opera up I get a new logo even though I've hidden the icon.

Hmm. What OS are you using then? So you hid the Opera O in the notifications or whatever the equivalent you are using is and it stayed hidden? Why am I not getting that then?

They don't have a qt4 shared build for x64 linux yet and the qt3 bundled version doesn't play well with my system

Does anyone know how you can get a windows media stream to work in Opera. It works fine in IE but I've never had much luck in Opera?

Ive tried at my work - seem nice browser, Im still using Fx 3.6a1 as master browser and Opera 10 as 2nd browser leave IE8 behind as unuse -- at home use Fx3.5.2 and maybe I install Opera 10 to use both... both can choose various theme.

I added the UK dictionary and set it as default.

How did you do that? On Tools>Preferences>General>Language it says British English which is why I don't understand the spelling issues. Unless the spell checker uses a different file? How did you add the UK dictionary then? Can't find anything obvious on the Opera site.
