Hmm nice but that doesn't really fix my problem.Marclister, CTRL+L places the cursor on the address bar.
you can change the key-configuration so that space or any key you want does that
If I'm on another site I can just type "a firefly" say to get Amazon's results on Firefly. I'm not on Amazon's site when I do that but "a firefly" will load up Amazon. When I try to set Opera up to do this for Play.com the code that Opera finds to supposedly send the search query to is the login button or something like that.
