So I installed Opera 15 today. And, er, I don't like it. It looks as if the new interface is getting a bit more cartoony. Oh and when I right-click to block content, there's nothing there in the menu. There's nothing in the settings and I can't see how to change the buttons on the layout.

Just wondering what the other Opera aficionados, if there's any left, think of Opera 15, if they've tried it.

I think it really needs updating to have the features it used to have. At the moment it's just too lacking in almost every regard :(. I've been using it in day to day stuff, as well as chrome, opera 12 and IE. I really want to move over, but i just can't sacrifice the current functionality of version 12!

I use both 12 and 15.

15 is still in the alpha stage so well early day yet. It is much faster than 12 though, just needs more features added to it which I'm sure will come in time. One thing I do like with 15 is folders in the speed dial, makes things much neater.

:)

15 isn't in alpha stage. This is the stable release.

While we are still working on the 12.16 version, which you should expect really soon, we have released the stable version of all-new Opera 15 for Windows and Mac.

I was a die hard Opera user.

Have migrated to Chrome now though. I can extend Chrome to get the functionality I wanted from Opera though, something that in the early days of Chrome you could not do.

My main pushing point was them removing the mail client from the browser, was one of the reasons I stuck with it. Without it, no real reason to stay.
